FABTECH 2026: connecting fabrication equipment with the next production decision
The Las Vegas edition brings forming, welding and finishing conversations together this October.

October 21–23, 2026 · Las Vegas, NV · FABTECH event partners: AWS, FMA, SME, PMA and IFCA
FABTECH is scheduled for October 21–23, 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Its manufacturing-industry partners bring together metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing under one event program.
A practical route through the technologies
Start with a production question rather than trying to see every machine. A cutting improvement may change handling needs; a welding change may alter preparation or inspection. Look for suppliers who can explain those connections.
Bring a representative application and compare approaches using the same material, batch-size and quality requirements. Note what tooling, programming and operator preparation a demonstration depends on.
Named 2026 program highlights
The organizer’s current program lists technology commentator Amber Mac and former NFL receiver Jerry Rice among its keynote speakers. The announced Amber Mac session addresses the changing role of AI and emerging technology.
Use broader leadership and technology sessions alongside the more specific equipment discussions. Verify times and any separate conference-registration requirements in the final agenda.
Make room for technical follow-up
The published expo hours are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. on October 21–22 and 9 a.m.–4 p.m. on October 23. Check the 2026 exhibitor directory for booth locations and arrange meetings with relevant application specialists.
Leave with a small number of well-defined next steps, such as a sample evaluation or process review. Keep the October Las Vegas visit separate from the September 2027 Chicago edition when booking travel or appointments.
