The woodworking fair’s revised schedule puts machinery, tools and shop systems into three public exhibition days.

AWFS Fair 2027 takes place July 13–15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers has announced a new Tuesday-to-Thursday format for the event.
Build the visit around the shop flow
The organizer’s product areas include CNC and routing equipment, cutting tools, sanding and finishing, dust collection, material handling and automation. These are connected decisions for a cabinet, furniture or custom woodworking business.
Start with the part family and order mix. Ask how a machine fits the material flow into and out of the operation, not just how quickly it completes a demonstration.
The updated schedule matters
The association explicitly shortened the 2027 public show to July 13–15. Monday, July 12 remains a separate dealer and distributor day. Older four-day listings should not be used to plan a Friday exhibition visit.
With fewer public show days, identify the most important equipment appointments in advance and leave room for the education program as details are confirmed.
Compare the full installation
For a shortlisted machine, request the footprint, utility needs, tooling requirements and operator training plan. Consider how maintenance and material handling fit into the proposal.
A useful exhibition conversation should lead to a documented configuration or a trial using representative work, making the follow-up relevant to the actual shop.
