International Fastener Expo 2026 takes place at the Phoenix Convention Center. The summit is scheduled for October 7, followed by the expo on October 8–9. Emerald organizes the trade-only event for qualified industry buyers.

Look beyond a unit price

Fasteners sit inside larger assembly and maintenance decisions. A sourcing discussion should cover the application, material, finish, traceability and delivery requirements, as well as the quoted price.

For machinery and tooling buyers, the practical issue is consistency. Ask how a supplier supports repeat orders, product identification and changes to an established specification.

Separate learning from sourcing time

The October 7 summit is distinct from the exhibition. The organizer lists expo hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 8 and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on October 9.

That split gives buyers a reason to plan appointments carefully. Use a short technical brief to keep discussions comparable across different stands.

What to bring back

A useful supplier shortlist should identify the proposed product, evidence still needed and the next evaluation step. Samples are more valuable when they are accompanied by a clear specification and contact responsible for follow-up.

Confirm registration eligibility and the current floor plan through the official show website before travelling.
