The ARA Show 2027 takes place February 14–16 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The American Rental Association schedules education and the Future of Equipment Rental program for February 14, with the trade show on February 15–16.

A machine has to work across many users

Rental fleets judge equipment differently from an owner using the same machine every day. Handover, controls, maintenance access and turnaround between hires all deserve attention alongside capacity.

Bring examples from the fleet’s service records. Ask suppliers how their designs address recurring damage, consumable replacement and the information an unfamiliar operator needs.

Plan around the two exhibition days

The organizer’s current 2027 calendar has two trade-show days. Use the education day to frame fleet questions, then arrange supplier appointments for February 15 and 16.

Keep purchase price, service support and the likely work mix in the same comparison. A demonstration should lead to questions about how the machine would fit into your own rental operation.

Leave with a testable shortlist

Request the maintenance schedule, operator information and relevant configurations for each serious candidate. Identify any trial or dealer follow-up needed before making a fleet decision.

Check the official registration information as arrangements develop, and confirm which program elements are included in the chosen pass.
