Equip Exposition 2026: outdoor equipment and tree care take the floor
A preview of the Louisville show’s outdoor demonstrations, expanded tree-care program and equipment conversations ahead of the next working season.

Equip Exposition is scheduled for October 20–23, 2026, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. The event brings outdoor-equipment suppliers together with contractors, dealers and landscape businesses, alongside Hardscape North America.
What to see outdoors
The organizer lists a 30-acre demonstration yard, giving eligible attendees opportunities to operate selected equipment with manufacturer representatives. The trade-show floor is scheduled to open Wednesday through Friday.
Make the demonstration time purposeful. Bring a description of the jobs the machine would perform, the transport limits it would face and the attachments already in use. That allows a representative to discuss a relevant configuration.
Tree care gets a larger stage
The announced Tree Care Arena in Freedom Hall will use a 50-foot tree for demonstrations and training. The Davey Institute and Academy Trained are named education partners.
For a landscape business considering additional tree-care work, equipment selection is only one part of the decision. Skills, staffing and the practical organization of a new service should be discussed alongside machine capability.
Comparing the equipment choices
The show’s exhibitor information covers robotic and battery-powered equipment as well as mowers, compact machinery, irrigation and other outdoor-work products.
A useful battery-equipment comparison should account for a full working day, including charging, storage and the number of machines in use. For robotic equipment, ask how installation, supervision and service responsibilities are divided.
Build a focused visit
Prioritize a small number of equipment categories and leave time to revisit the most relevant suppliers after a demonstration. The official schedule and floor plan can help connect indoor meetings with the outdoor program.
A short set of consistent questions makes the results easier to compare: what is included, what requires additional equipment, who provides support and what a representative trial would involve.
