Known as WITS, the biennial exhibition serves the manufacturing community. Its official 2027 schedule is confirmed even though some site labels still refer to 2025. The next edition offers a planning point for production teams investigating equipment or supplier options against a defined shop-floor requirement.
Bring the part and the production constraint
Use a drawing, representative part or process description to explain the work. Include the material, dimensions, required output and the bottleneck under review. Ask suppliers which parts of the brief they can assess at the show and what would need a later sample or trial.
When discussing machinery, distinguish machine capability from the surrounding process. Identify the handling, tooling, inspection and operator assumptions behind a proposal before treating a demonstration as a complete production solution.
Compare support as well as equipment
Ask how installation, training, service and spare-parts support would be provided. For a manufacturing service, discuss the information needed for a quotation, the scope of work and how quality requirements would be agreed. Avoid treating a general capability list as acceptance of a particular job.
Use a common worksheet across suppliers: application, proposed approach, assumptions, documents requested and next action. This allows production, maintenance and purchasing colleagues to compare options after the event.

The first day opens at 1 p.m. and closes at 7 p.m.; October 20 runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; October 21 runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The organizer’s registration page says registration will open in 2027, so check it again when arranging attendance.
