MD&M West 2027: bring product design and production questions together
Anaheim’s manufacturing exhibition gives engineering teams a setting to compare suppliers and discuss how a product will be made.

February 9–11, 2027 · Anaheim, CA · Informa Markets
MD&M West 2027 takes place February 9–11 at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 West Katella Avenue. Informa Markets organizes the event for the design and manufacturing community.
A product brief is the best starting point
A manufacturing exhibition is most useful when suppliers can respond to a defined requirement. Bring the material, dimensions, tolerances and intended production volume behind the project.
Use the visit to explore how design choices affect tooling, assembly and inspection. Different suppliers may identify different constraints, and those differences deserve an engineering review.
Plan supplier meetings around the hall hours
The organizer lists expo hours of 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on February 9 and 10, and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on February 11. Hall E opens at 9:30 a.m. each day.
Review the developing conference and workshop program separately. The event information page currently leaves some program hours to be announced, so do not base a travel plan on an earlier edition’s timetable.
Make the comparison usable after Anaheim
Record the scope of each proposed service or process, including what the supplier needs before it can quote accurately. Keep prototype capabilities separate from claims about ongoing production.
A focused next step might be a sample review, manufacturability study or trial run. Agree the purpose and success criteria before starting that work.
