APEX EXPO 2026: electronics production from components to systems
Advanced packaging and manufacturing equipment shared a program focused on the connections across electronics production.
APEX EXPO’s 2026 gathering in Anaheim brought electronics suppliers, equipment makers and manufacturers into the same technical conversation. The debut of the Advanced Electronic Packaging Conference added another perspective on how materials and processes connect with finished systems.
Participation and exhibition results
The Global Electronics Association reported attendance of 7,192, including 3,691 verified participants. The sold-out exhibition featured 417 exhibitors across 140,000 net square feet, with professionals from 50 countries.
The organizer also described 25 sessions across seven technical tracks. Its recap emphasized the connection between materials, interconnects, architectures and complete systems.
A supplier response
Koh Young’s Brent Fischthal described the event as the company’s strongest lead-generation show during his tenure beginning in 2018. That is an exhibitor’s assessment, rather than a measure of results for every participant.
For manufacturing teams, those initial contacts are useful when they lead to a discussion of the real production problem: the product mix, the process being evaluated and the evidence needed to judge a change.
Compare the process around the machine
An equipment demonstration should prompt questions about setup, inspection and the information passed to the next production step. Ask what the example represents and where the proposed application differs.
APEX’s component-to-system emphasis makes that broader review particularly relevant. A process improvement is easier to assess when the team can explain its effect on the full production route, rather than a single station in isolation.
