World of Asphalt 2027: comparing the equipment behind a paving operation
New Orleans will host a trade show and education program focused on asphalt production, road work and pavement maintenance.

March 15–17, 2027 · New Orleans, LA · Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM)
World of Asphalt is scheduled for March 15–17, 2027 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. It is co-located with AGG1, connecting asphalt contractors with the upstream aggregates equipment and materials conversation.
A connected view of paving
The official event scope includes asphalt production and recycling equipment, road-building machinery, maintenance products and testing equipment. The People, Plants and Paving conference adds an education component to the exhibition.
A useful visit follows the work from the plant to the finished surface. Equipment capacity matters, but so do the handoffs between production, hauling, placement and compaction.
Questions worth taking to a demonstration
Describe the work your fleet actually performs, including typical job size, access restrictions and transport arrangements. Ask how a proposed machine would fit the rest of the operation rather than judging it solely on its largest specification.
Maintenance access, support response and operator familiarization should be part of the comparison. Request the evidence behind performance claims and note the conditions used in any demonstration.
Plan across the two shows
Use the 2027 exhibitor directory to build a focused route and check education access separately from expo admission. The announced public hours are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Wednesday.
Individual supplier spotlights and speaker profiles should follow edition-specific confirmation. This preview does not treat older show totals or testimonials as results of the forthcoming event.
