Build Show LIVE 2025 exhibition

Build Show LIVE’s October 16–18 edition in Dallas combined a construction exhibition with education centered on how buildings are put together. Its format made the relationship between a product, a detail and the finished assembly the main attraction.

What the organizer reported

The post-show report recorded 2,365 industry professionals, 155 exhibiting companies and 74 educational sessions. The audience included builders, contractors, remodelers and manufacturers from almost every state and 11 countries.

Four show-floor learning areas covered demonstrations, business operations, construction challenges and Andersen Windows & Doors products. Off-site visits included Matt Risinger’s home and a Risinger Homes project.

Suppliers valued the focused audience

The organizer published responses from exhibitors including EDCO and Bosch. Their comments emphasized contact with builders and the relevance of the audience to their products.

That focus is useful when a discussion moves past a catalog description. A contractor can ask how a component meets adjacent materials, which installation steps are essential and what information a crew needs before work begins.

Preserve the reasoning behind the detail

When bringing a demonstration back to a project, record why the detail was chosen as well as how it was built. A method shown in one assembly should be reviewed against the actual project and the relevant product instructions.

The durable value of this edition was the connection between explanation and application. Building science becomes easier to use when the team can trace a decision through the construction process.
