NPE: The Plastics Show is scheduled for May 3–7, 2027 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The Plastics Industry Association owns and produces the event.

A material decision is also a processing decision

The organizer’s 2027 plans include dedicated technology zones covering materials, moldmaking, manufacturing services, bottling, and recycling and sustainability. For an industrial buyer, the useful connection is between a proposed material and the process needed to turn it into a consistent product.

Ask suppliers to explain which properties have been tested, under what conditions, and what changes may be needed to processing or tooling.

Education and recycling demonstrations

The organizer says ANTEC technical programming will be part of the 2027 education offering, with access tied to eligible registration options. Its plans also include recycling demonstrations and a new Sustainability Park.

These features provide places to ask application-specific questions. A recycled-content or performance claim should be examined against the intended product, service conditions and available processing equipment.

Prepare a specification-led visit

Bring the requirements that matter to the application, including dimensions, appearance, operating conditions and expected production volume. Compare materials and supporting equipment against the same brief.

Confirm individual exhibitors, speaker sessions and registration access through the 2027 program. Earlier NPE participant lists are not treated as current commitments in this preview.
