AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo is scheduled for March 15–17, 2027 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Owned by the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association and produced by AEM, it will share the venue and dates with World of Asphalt.
Materials quality begins with the process
AGG1 serves crushed-stone, sand and gravel producers as well as plant operators and equipment suppliers. Its academy covers operating, production and business subjects alongside the exhibition.
For a producer, the central issue is not only how much material a system can handle. Consistency, the required product specification and the balance between processing stages also affect the usefulness of an equipment change.
Make supplier comparisons specific
Bring a description of the feed material, target product and current constraint. Ask suppliers which assumptions their capacity estimates depend on and what testing would be needed before choosing a solution.
The same discipline applies to maintenance and plant integration. A component that performs well in isolation still needs to fit the surrounding system and the people who operate it.
